Super clear tutorial, really easy to follow and fun to make! Thank you so much! :)
Excellent video!❤
Thanks for the useful vid! I've only ever used polyester but bought some cotton for a linen garment im going to make. Was also thinking it would be great if i wanted to dye the garment
Awesome 😂
can the cotton wrapped poly be dyed? thanks!
Brilliant demo. Good for trapunto as back of applique is free for filling
Ty for the free pattern.Only thing please try and get words where we can see your demonstration on the video
This was fantastic! Please do more videos like this. 😊
Wow… you are special indeed! ❤
Excellent tutorial…. ! Mission accomplished…. ❤
Your voice projection is soothing and pleasant to the ear…beyond, your tutorial was so informative. Thank you! ❤
How about putting a link to these in the video, please!!
That’s nice but there is no link to the product or even Superior’s website.
How much fabric do I need?
Excellent tutorial! Very easy to follow, and the pattern looks fun and easy to customize. Loved the "Shopping Cart" hat. I think I need one of those!
I am King Tut.
Just found this. Its hilarious!
If you could only place your camera on the top.....we would see much better, instead of your hand!
I'm definitely going to try this! I already make quilts from large scraps this way on the longarm...just hadnt thought to use it with T-shirt quilts. thanks much!
BEST description of the difference between single and double fold binders I’ve ever seen. Thank you for clarifying so clearly, and for the tutorial 😊
Could you wrap the flimsy rope from your daughter with the fabric strips for stability and use it?
Have you tried dyeing rope? What size rope (so it fits under machine foot), thread weight, needle size/type (jeans, topstitch etc) do you recommend? To reduce fraying, think batik fabrics would work? Does it matter if fabric is cut on bias or straight cut? Would definitely like to see how you add handles. Very good instruction in rope bowl stitching-thanks for sharing!
Amy you are AWESOME! Thank you so much for this tutorial "Easy Bucket Hat." You explained and demonstrated in a way that was truly easy!!
AWESOME WORK!!!
Very funny, loved it. Thank you.
Did you mention the needle size to use?
I like the table stand holder you have for your cone thread. What is it called and how do I purchase one? I like that you are using variegated thread as well. Thank you!
Im addicted to Superior Threads and LOVE variegated threads. Can anyone tell me which colors were used for this gorgeous quilt? I need them!
They almost never answer any of the comments which is quite disappointing. I would just call customer service and reference this video. Maybe they can tell you what thread was used Or you can go online to their website and take note of the colors that you see in the quilt you’ll probably find what you’re looking for
@@dcwatashi hello! That IS disappointing! I went onto their website and found that a few colors looked similar to one another. Their still photos of the spools are of lower resolution so I couldn’t be sure. I have many of their thread cards but I guess I need to order the Omni-V ones too. Thank you for weighing in; I’ll call them. Have a great weekend!🌼
@@danameek5843 unbelievable accompany that has been in business a long time can’t even upload decent resolutions of their threads on the website😂😂😂
@@danameek5843 google HTML code is pretty much garbage. It won’t let me edit my message so I have to keep sending separate ones but the link I gave you for the variegated if you scroll down on Linda‘s website, it lists the colors that are in that thread and that’s the only one that has the turquoise/teal
If you could just put the camera by the sewing machine would’ve been great I need to visualize to be able to learn but thank you ❤
Wow how nice thanks for sharing!
I just adore variegated 🧵 threads. And I adore Superior threads. I own almost all of them‼️‼️🧵🥰 The quilting pattern highlights your thread well!
I was at the Portland quilt show yesterday very disappointed to see that there were no vendors selling any thread whatsoever. I thought for sure superior thread would be there. I guess they can’t be bothered to come to Portland, Oregon.
They used to come to Portland. And there was a thread vendors at QuiltfestNW.
@@quilted55 there was one thread vendor at the one at the fairgrounds in Clark County and I asked her if she had any Tex thread and she had to look it up. She didn’t even know what the numbers meant. How can you sell thread and not know that? Oh well, I’ll get what I need from online.
@@dcwatashi I know the vendor. She knows that Tex is a method of thread measurement. Tex size is the weight in grams of 1,000 meters of thread. Often, quilting and sewing thread is referred to by size, like 12 for Perl cotton, 40 or 50 for general sewing, quilting, or piecing, or fine 100 for super dense quilting or lingerie sewing. There are certainly different ways of measuring threads of all kinds.
@@quilted55 trust me she had no idea what Tex Number was equivalent to what she had there at the show. She seemed very confused either you know you have Tex 70 thread for sale or you don’t.
This has to be the dumbest informational video I've ever seen. Way too much padding with filler junk and not enough actual teaching. I came here for help, not poor entertainment.
I appreciated the detail.. feet, going around curves, needle down to adjust etc. Very good patient explanations.
Thank you for a clear explanation.
Hey, I purchased it and it works great for my sideless bobbins, but with the magnetic ones the minimum tension I can get (even with the screw off entirely) is 230nm, I like to work around 170nm for flats. Do you guys experience that as well? The magnetic bobbins are from Madeira.
Thank you for this awesome lesson..
I love the way the coaster turned out with the fabric!
I enjoyed watching this, you are real!! Thanks.
Thx for the help but all that’s seen are your lovely hands😮. Not a very good angle at all😫
Wonderful video .. I started making some of these using fabric and found if I cut the fabric in the bias, you don’t have all the loose threads .. makes it a neater bowl …
What an amazing tip😊. Thank you.
I did not know you could stitch and leave the foot up. I thought it would tangle. I'll have to try it. Thank you.
Absolutely amazing! I've just started thread painting on the National Park panels and this is just astonishing.
I didn’t realize you are in WA. Not far from me.
Very thorough instructions. Thanks for sharing. 😃
Are you using 100% cotton thread?
I’ve been watching so many of this videos, but yours did a great job of explaining the different types of rope! Would hate to have my first project not be useable. THANK YOU!
I’m hoping that Superior will be vending the AQS Lancaster/Lebanon show in September! Along with so many y other vendors! I’ve missed an AQS show reasonable c,one to me (I live in NC - Daytona is still farther away than PA and I dint like Fl anyway😄).
Fantastic video Thankyou I learned a lot 😊
